Never been to South Dakota before, thought I would stop at Mount Rushmore. Took a pit stop in keystone, I don't recommend doing this alone. The mannequins watch you while you eat, who knew we were in for such a treat. And that velvet clad cocktail waitress, what was her name? She should be put in the hall of fame....
I was driving through Keystone on a warm Sunday afternoon with my happy new puppy named Kila. I was tired from all of the traveling and I needed some where to stop. I couldn't have stopped at somewhere better. This bar has two out door patios which was perfect for me and my new puppy. They have great craft beer on tap, great prices and they even offered my puppy a doggy bowl on a hot day. One of the best places in Keystone!! :)
Great place to stop while visiting the Black Hills. The Saloon has very interesting history with fabulous hand painted buffalo skins by Paha Ska. Drink menu had a lot of choices at reasonable prices.
Went there for a comedy/western show they were advertising. Show was good, service at the bar was not. We couldn't get a refill on our drinks and my Bud Light draw tasted like there was still soapy water in the glass. Skip the bar for the service and drinks, but I do recommend the show.
The Red Garter Saloon is a unique, old fashioned style bar. The drinks and service are terrific! Stopping at the Red Garter Saloon is a must if you are in the Keystone area!
The food deserves a two star review, and that should probably deter you. But if you're feeling brave, slide on through and hang with Big Dave
Don't get the Indian taco, despite the extensive advertising upon arrival.
