Food was great. Service was friendly. Price was fair. Thought we would be charged an outrageous price because if location but that's not the case. And as a bonus it is one of the few places in Keystone that has parking out front. Would definitely go back.
Where to start? Had to repeat my order to the waiter 3 times before he got it right. Brought cinnamon roll before coffee or drinks. Had to walk up to front counter to ask for coffee which was brought by a different server. By then cinnamon roll was cold and dry. Scrambled eggs were tasteless and rubbery. Like fast food restaurants who cook their eggs in a microwave. I tried to add a little flavor with ketchup which also tasted off because Tabasco wouldn't come out of bottle because it was so crusted over. Dad and I joked about driving the hour to Wall Drug for 5¢ coffee. Now I wish we had.
Nice and friendly good food and reasonably priced.
It's a great place to start the day, if your travelling through and looking for something traditional then check this place out.
Typical tourist breakfast. Not extraordinary, but not bad. Biscuits are dense with a hint of sweetness. Sausage gravy had very little sausage. Pretty standard stuff.
Looking for a change from the endless burgers served in Keystone, we ate dinner at Peggy's Place one evening. The cream of tomato soup was some of the best I have ever had. The rainbow trout and mashed potatoes were also delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. After our meal the owner came by chatted with us. It was definitely our best meal in Keystone.
