Just got back from a whole week at the campground. It was just perfect for our family. I have 2 boys (4 and 7) who loved the place. The facilities were very clean. We ended up showering in the bathrooms every day because it was nicer than our RV. We played putt putt and swam at the pool every day. The store had any extras we needed and we had a tasty hot pizza from them one night. There was so much to do that our kids asked one day to just stay at the campground to play (volleyball net, basketball hoop, tether ball, big open field, pretty stream running through the whole campground). We also did the short hike from the site that was easy and had views of Mount Rushmore from the top. I can't say enough nice things about the place and the staff! They even put on a whole day of free 4th of July games and events for the kids. Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I with our two children (boys 13 and 18) stayed here for 7 nights in a tent while visiting the blackhills. Its a beautiful campground with a store and cafe/restaurant on property. We were able to call 30 before arriving and had a pizza ready for us when we arrived. It was very delicious we could tell it was made fresh. Tent sites are near a very beautiful creek. There was plenty of shade on the tent site. We stayed on a site with water and electricity. My family would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and answering all our annoying tourist questions. Oh and btw the location is great!!

Fantastic staff that keeps the sites very clean, the bakery is awesome good cookies and cinnamon rolls. Showers where freshly painted and very clean bathrooms were consistently cleaned and always very presentable especially for how many people were there. It's a great commercial campground ran by some fantastic people and a wonderful staff.

Loved this campground. People were very nice. See deer right in the campground. Very peaceful

An excellent, well-run and well-maintained campground centrally located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. There are a variety of camping options to meet all needs--RV hookup sites, tent sites with and without water and electricity (priced accordingly), cabins, and shelters for larger groups--all nestled along Spokane Creek. The campground offers plenty of amenities: pool, miniature golf, playground, hiking trails, a well-stocked general store, and a small restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices. There are 2 restrooms, the larger of the two with showers, that are always clean and fully stocked, as well as on-site laundry facilities. I've stayed at Spokane Creek both times I've visited the Black Hills and look forward to staying there again in the future!
