My family loves this place! We’ve visited during the peak season and off season and have enjoyed our stay each time.
In my opinion, one of the nicest hotels in keystone,and by far the nicest employees in keystone. The rooms are spacious,and clean. The continental breakfast was pretty good ,and none of us left hungry. The manager was very accommodating,and I could tell he took pride in is job. We have stayed here several times, and plan to stay here on future visits to the hills.
A simple, clean and nice hotel located just far enough away from the noise of the Keystone strip to sleep quietly, yet close enough to walk to the action. There are a variety of units, from drive up rooms to larger ones in interior hallways with bunk beds and/or fireplaces. They serve a cold continental breakfast (they have toasters) and feature a pool and hot tub. The Safari Room can be used for events (40 people or so). Staff is extremely friendly and responsive.
The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was harder than I normally it. Only two pillows per bed so bring your own if you like more.
I cancelled a reservation more than 20 days before the stay was to occur. The reservation was for a weekend in July. Now, 24 hours after I cancelled my room, they've already re booked the room. They still charged me a cancellation fee. Why would you charge a cancellation fee when you were able to re book the room within 24 hours? I told them their policy was not good business and let them know I would be writing this review. The lady on the phone said I was threatening her. Threatening? That sounds like extremely strong language and is completely unwarranted. I don't see how telling the truth publicly about a policy that is clearly bad for business could be deemed a threat.
