Excellent choice. So very convenient to all the reasons you come to this part of South Dakota !! We stayed in No. 2 cabin; very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Fire pit on a cool evening with flurries was a nice touch. Owners Jim and Chrystal are most pleasant and hospitable, and helpful with suggestions for dining, sightseeing, and that "don't miss" location. Plan to see you next year !!

Wonderful accommodations run by great people. Super-friendly and very helpful. The cabins themselves look fantastic. The location is excellent. Not everyone will enjoy the proximity of the nearby road, but these cabins are the perfect compromise for those who want an appearance and feel of being out in the wilderness without actually being cut off in some remote location. The locality of so many famous landmarks and worthwhile places to visit only sells this place even more. We stayed for only two nights, as we had prior reservations elsewhere in South Dakota for our five-day road trip, but should we find ourselves returning to the area, Rustic Ridge is the first place I would look to stay, hopefully for longer, next time around! Thanks for everything.

As a former cabin-style short term stay facility employee, I have a certain set of expectations when visiting hotels, cabins, etc. This place met all of my expectations. I would highly recommend for anyone needing a conveniently located and affordable place to stay.
